Abstract
The prescription in the Integral Criminal Justice System for Adolescents has different timeframes than the ordinary ones, which we analyze in this article. Additionally, we reflect on the reasonable adjustments made for the different age groups within adolescence. Our focus is on suspension of the statute of limitations when an adolescent commits a criminal offense of a sexual nature or human trafficking against another adolescent, girl or boy. This determination is systematically studied, weighing it against the best interests of the child and various seemingly contradictory provisions within our legal system.
