The Legal Agent as a Functional Differentiator The Role of the Legal Operator in the Structural Preservation of Social Systems in the Digital Age

Abstract
This article analyzes, from the perspective of Niklas Luhmann’s Systems Theory, the impact of social media and the digital economy on psychic, economic, political, and legal systems. It examines the effects of social media on mental health, polarization, and identity formation; explores the exploitation of data by the economic system; investigates the instrumentalization of social media by the political system; and addresses the role of the legal system and legal actors in normative stabilization. The text emphasizes the need to adapt regulatory frameworks to address the systemic challenges posed by the digital revolution.
