Cannabis: ¿legalización o prohibición? Perspectivas y desafíos en el contexto internacional

Resumen
El debate sobre la legalización del cannabis frente a su prohibición ha adquirido una relevancia creciente en el panorama internacional, lo que refleja una profunda transformación en las políticas de drogas globales hacia las estrategias de descriminalización relacionadas con el cannabis, que buscan reducir su mercado ilícito y gestionar su consumo.
En este contexto, se requiere el diseño de marcos regulatorios robustos y eficaces que puedan manejar tanto las implicaciones sociales como las económicas del consumo legal de cannabis. Asimismo, se precisará una evaluación continua de las políticas implementadas para asegurar que cualquier cambio maximice los beneficios sociales y minimice los riesgos asociados.
